Product Description The Four Seasons Zamioculcas Raven (Black ZZ Plant) Large Size Rare Imported Variety Natural Live Plant Zamioculcas is a genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae, containing the single species Zamioculcas zamiifolia. Common names include Zanzibar gem, ZZ plant, Zuzu plant, aroid palm, eternity plant and emerald palm. It is grown as an ornamental plant, mainly for its attractive glossy foliage and easy care. Zamioculcas The roots of the plant are rhizomes, which is the reason behind the plant being drought tolerant as the rhizomes store water in it that the plant can use later. Thus the plant should be watered only when it is dry to avoid overwatering. They require good drainage system and can live on moderate to indirect sunlight. Insufficient sunlight can be indicated by leaf lengthening.

I am writing this review after a month of purchasing. At first when the plant arrived, I was very happy because it was a good size (5 shoots were there) and had a new shoot starting out at the base. Although the plant arrived in soaking wet state, I thought I can save it. Now after a month, two of the shoots have decayed, one shoot is on the verge of dying, and the new shoot that was coming up have turned out to be pure green!!! Not really sure what is happening- this is a very disappointing experience from Four Seasons. All the recent purchases I have done from Four Seasons have turned out to be very disappointing.
