convenient design
The media could not be loaded. we were not professionals, but this is a great drum "toy"for our child who is interest in playing beat, and what we like the most is the design of this electronic drum make it so easy to pack and carry around, so you don't have to invest in an actual drum set that takes alot more space. The sound quality is pretty good for beginner as well, overall we were satisfied with this.

Loud at low volume. Static and no sound when volume turned all the way down.
This is the second electronic drum kit in this price range I've purchased for my kids to learn some basics. The first one was a different brand (KPP). The volume control on it did not work, it was max volume all the time so I returned it. I looked through several of these kits, they're almost all made in China and are basically reskins of the same model. I took a chance on this one.Good:The sound reproduction is better than the other kit. At least on par with a decent keyboard. The response is better than the other kit with less delay between hitting and actually producing sound.Bad:The strike zone is a lot smaller than the other kit. You really have to hit it in the middle to get a response. When the volume is set to the lowest setting, there is actually no sound produced, just a slight static buzz. The volume is still very loud even when turned to 1 above 0.Pedals are flimsy and hard to find a way to actually use.Neutral:Kit is a lot smaller than you'd think. The product image has measurements, I suggest you look at them and get a ruler. This is for small kids, not more than 7 or 8.Some of the answered questions for this product are clearly copy/paste fake reviews. This is not a "professional" kit by any stretch of the imagination. This is basically a higher quality toy. That being said, kids have fun with it and it does help get them interested in music. At this price point (~$55), it's about as good as you can probably hope for. I do wish the volume worked better, I don't always want to hear the noise when the kids are in their bedroom upstairs. Yes, you can wear headphones, but then they can't rock out together.

Great entry level drum set
Purchased this for my wife who is looking in to learning drums. Let's face it, if you're not sure that drumming is going to work out, this roll up drum beats buying a full size set. The portability also is key as she accompanies me while I play uke.Great bargain, decent sound, super portable.Would recommend for anybody.

Fun
Bought this for my nine year old and it's so fun - the rest of the family tries to jump in and play when we hear him. Also, it has plug-in for headphones. I was very happy with the purchase.

Best Gift Ever and Definitely Mom-Approved
I absolutely love this! My godson took part in a youth orchestra program, in which the program provided instruments as long as school was in session. Once school shut down due to COVID, he lost access to the drum pad he used to practice on. He started a new school this fall (virtual for now, of course), and it's a performing arts program. They're auditioning for parts, and he was desperate for a drum pad so he could land a percussion part. I couldn't bear the idea of him not having one, so this made a perfect early Christmas gift.He is over the moon with this! This is so far above what he had before that he has already spent hours playing around with the new features. It records demos and everything, and connect it to a smart phone or computer! I had no idea. I thought I was just getting him a practice pad!His mom reports that the sound quality is actually very good. It even offers accompanying songs he can play along with. There are 2 foot pedals that you can use or not, depending on how into it you're getting. She said the volume is highly adjustable, going very low to very loud. Best of all (to his mom), you can use it with headphones. Even better!!I have seen it in person, and while this is absolutely perfect for a kid, it would definitely be too small for an adult. But for kids, it's phenomenal!

Nice item
Great for my son who is 6 and wants to drumon everything. Not a true 5 because the pads are not labeled as to what they would be in real life but it's ok.
