The wood grain on these looks gorgeous, and the pearloid material is bonded to the wood in its entirety, so if you're like me and needed to Dremel out some material to make room for a slip on mag well it will still be sturdy. The only complaint I have is that there are still machining lines in the wood and pearloid that could have been sanded out but unless you're really looking at them you don't really notice.
