So, you can imagine how elated I was to find a harness that had a step in design that she would wear and move around in. The material is soft and lightweight and it fit her perfectly even though its a little loose on her torso, though I feel fairly confident that she can't slip out of it. The quality also seems really nice and it looks like it will last for a long time (and I've had it since December). I have just started trying to train my cat with the harness and it is going well; except when she decides she's tired and just flops down. In all though this is a really nice quality harness, and if your cat or dog is like mine and hates things going over their heads this is the perfect harness for you. I'd give this harness 10 stars if I could, but for now it's 5 stars. Review: Great harness! - Easy to put on chihuahua. Bought a small for 8 lb. Dog. Just slip it over her head and pull up the sides to buckle. This is a very secure harness. What is nice about it is that it’s not too tight when she pulls since some Chihuahuas have the collapsed trachea problem like mine. Real easy to take off too. Would recommend for little dogs. ## Features - Fits Small to Medium Pets: Whether your pet is a small or medium breed, we have the right size to match. I want a y shaped one, the x shape neck will be too big. Was hoping for xs y shape?** A: For our Step-In Lock Harness, the Y shaped harnesses are XXXS and XXS which are made for cats. While the X-shaped harnesses are made for dogs. **Q: How do you keep the middle strap from sliding side to side on their back?** A: It doesn’t slide much if you have adjusted the fit properly. I think you are looking for a harness that doesn’t exist. Nothing is perfect in this world. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.vu/products/224108089-voyager-step-in-lock-dog-harness-pink-medium](https://www.desertcart.vu/products/224108089-voyager-step-in-lock-dog-harness-pink-medium) --- *Product available on Desertcart Vanuatu* *Store origin: VU* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
