I was still able to get movement on the steering shaft and realized that the lower shaft (this item under review) was also bad. desertcart had the exact part that I needed at half the cost of the auto parts stores and ridiculously lower than the dealerships. This Dorman shaft is a quality product and is equal to or greater than the OEM part. Once installed, there are no more annoying sounds coming from the steering column.
