A: Yes, the stainless steel tongs are dishwasher safe.

**Q: Weight in ounces?**
A: Just weighed it..8 ounces. It doesn’t have a way to keep it closed for storage FYI.

**Q: What grade of stainless steel are they?**
A: Don't know that answer.  Th3y were heavier than I expected.  I have used the old lightweight ones since the 1970's and loved  them,  and hoped that was what they were.  They were gifts.  My son uses his. Daughter?

**Q: "Winco is a US brand" thanks. But where is the item manufactured?**
A: Mine are clearly labeled Made in India
