**Q: Is this 3 or 4 lb?  Top description sais 3 lb.**
A: The one I received is a true 4 lb hammer (Truper Model MD-4F Barcode: 7 501206 675816). On the underside of the head it has casting marks (embossed) "4lb" and "Mexico." There is also a sticker on the side of the head that indicates 4 lbs (1.8 kg). It seems to weigh almost exactly 5 pounds, including the handle. It's one of the few things I've ordered through Amazon that has been as stated. I've used it a few times and it seems like a well-made hammer. If they're still shipping the same ones, then I would recommend it.
