They’re light weight. Don’t make my feet sweat. Decent arch support. If you’re feet over pronate they’re not the best. But if you have neutral arches they’re pretty darn comfy. I have mild plantar fasciitis but if you have horrible foot or heel pain I would see these aren’t the shoes for you. I would check out vionic slip ons if you have a bad case of plantar fasciitis. (I’m a massage therapist which is why I’m blabbering on about foot pain) Are they the holy grail of comfortable shoes? No. But I’ll keep buying. Also as far as sizing. They’re spot on. I wear a 9.5. Bought a 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I have a medium width foot and I’d say there’s plenty of room for wider feet. If you have a narrow foot I’d say go with the style that has a heel. Bought them one day, delivered same week (snow storm affected delivery), wore on a cruise the next day and for the whole sunny week after that! No blusters. No need to break them in. True to size. Beautiful neutral blue color that paired well with many of my travel and everyday outfits. The velvet interior lining is so luxurious! I thought I would be annoyed by it and probably blame it for sweaty feet. I was wrong. The lining doesn’t really change the temp of my foot, comfortable warmth, and it is so soft! The sole also feels nice and durable. I found myself tripping over my feet in flip flops after wearing these, so there is something to be said about how easy they are to walk in also. Not having a back to the shoe does not hinder the functionality. Just nice easy shoes. Worth every penny.
