When it did, and we opened it, how disappointed we were. First off, whoever shipped it jammed it up inside a small box. So now it is not straight, it's bent up like a pretzel. We have it hanging inside the garage hoping some heat and gravity will straighten it out. The next thing is there is a very prominent seam on both sides running the entire length. I know this is from the manufacturing but one would have hoped that would have been cleaned off - for quality sake. If it straightens out I will have to take a razor blade to it to clean it up myself. grrr. And last, is it really rubber? Or is it plastic? It's stiff and hard like plastic, not at all like rubber. It does bend and is somewhat flexible, but if it were really rubber it would not have kinked up like it did when it was shoved in the box. We have another rubber whip that is actually rubber and feels nothing like this.
