If you are concerned about distraction ,I find the screen where it is placed under the rear view mirror and as close to the mirror base prevents this. **Q: How do I get this 622g to play back 4k footage on my dell desktop 64 with nextbase player? And should I have received a suction mount.** A: I always take the Micro SD card out, insert it into a SD adaptor and slot it into the card treader slot. If your computer does not have a card reader slot then you need to use an external card reader that plugs into one of the USB ports. The NexrBase Player should detect the Micro SD card. YES you should have received a suction mount. **Q: Does the rear camera module that goes in the rear screen need access to a 2nd 12v socket to power? Or does the wire just run from the the front 12v?** A: You only need to use one lighter socket to run the main camera unit & the extra rear camera of choice plugs into the main cameras windscreen cradle.. **Q: Can you download video from the 622 with WiFi to your phone ?** A: I have the 522gw with attached rear view camera and yes as long as you have either the power on via the ignition or any usb power source. You should upload your journey to the Nextbase cloud. The magnetic fixture is solid. My only gripe which is quite fundamental is that the ball joint that the camera attaches to is useless. It's limp and sags with the camera attached. It's just not strong enough to hold the weight of the camera and if you hit any bumps/holes etc, it droops even more. The 3M pad hasn't budged all summer and is still strongly adhered to the windscreen. The mobile app is a vampire and will suck your phone battery dry within a few hours (pixel XL 9 pro). Disable the app and I get my usual 3 days of life. I've only had this since May 20th, so 4 months is pathetic. I'm just going to glue it in place and have done with it. Nov 29th: the mount will no longer charge the camera and that's without unmounting the camera. So all in all the windscreen mount is a POS. Camera now has the USB plugged in directly.
