It's exactly what I needed, more room, but compact to start my plants for my garden. Only 2 problems I got was I am missing a washer that holds one of the guide wires that keep the lights in place. It is functional, but a bit shakey. I called the number on the invoice and the girl who answered said the girl who does Amazon orders was not in and would call me back in an hour. Well it's 5 hours later and no call and no washer. Also it would be perfect if the legs had an extra 18 inches or so. That way the bottom shelf would not be 3 inches from the ground I will update if I get a call on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday) about that washer. Also I am lucky I got an old mud room bench I can put it on, but if you don't like being on your hands and knees to use both shelves, don't buy this until unless you got something to put it on.

My only problem with this came because I have difficulty bending down to reach the bottom shelf. We purchased a relatively inexpensive coffee table and put it on that and it is perfect. I raise african violets and they are so happy!! We had a bad light but Amazon took care of that in no time and they carry the replacement bulbs too.

This was too small to be of any use to me. I returned it and got the 50 inch wide stand. The small one might be good for a small apartment. Recommend getting the humidity cover that fits over it and will keep the humidity as high as at 70 - 80%. This will turn your black thumb green.

This stand is a great stand for someone starting out or for someone wanting a light in an isolation room. My one draw back is that the shelf could stand a bit taller so there wouldn't be as much bending. I've had to put mine up on a smaller table. The quality is there, the customer support is there when needed. The fixtures are top notch and the lights turn into their slots effortlessly. If you can afford the g24 or larger g3/g4 you will enjoy the 40watt light bulbs. They do last longer than the 20 watt bulbs and are cheaper/easier to find in town.

Easy setup up for me and I like the size however my attempt to get one of the lights to work quickly put me in a fowl state. I was able to have an electrician look at it and the starter failed. Bulbs work great but disappointed in quality of product

Had to have one of the lights replaced because of defect ,however it was resolved fast, This is my second one. Good salesmanship

Love this shelf and light stand. I was able to set this up myself and assembled the lights and unit easily in less than an hour. Works as advertised and would recommend to anyone needing a grow light set. Sturdy for my use and my Bird of Paradise and Plumeria seedlings are enjoying their light.

I received this as a gift. Everything was in the package and it was fairly simple to put together. Had to adjust the light tubes a few times to get them in correctly. Having the two trays is so nice. I only wish it were bigger.
