We have a 6-year-old cat who is both large and chonky, and a 5-month-old kitten. The big guy has no trouble walking in, and he usually uses the tunnels for naps. The little guy, who bounces off the walls, is in and out of the tunnels repeatedly, every day. I throw toys down the tunnel for him to catch. He jumps in and out of the holes, and leaps over the tunnels like hurdles. He's landed on top of the tunnels lots of times, and both he and the tunnels came out okay. I really like the minimal use of fabric on the outer layer (for allergy reasons). It isn’t the typical cheap Sherpa-y/fleece you see used in others. The inner material is also thicker and it makes a better “crinkle” sound, which my cat enjoys. I originally purchased this simply because of the appearance. I wanted a neutral color that wouldn’t make the room look tacky or childish... My cat’s previous tunnel was getting old and I just couldn’t stand the neon hot pink/purple anymore.
