I figured I would spend the extra money on my next pump to avoid having another failure. Well this pump lasted about 6 months until it has failed. The pump will no longer come on when the float rises and should switch the pump on. When I first realized my backyard was filling up with water I went out to and found the pump no longer running, The float has rose with the water like it should however it did not kick the pump on, I reached down and slighty shook the float under water and it kicked on the pump until the water was low enough the float lowered and switched the pump off. After that instance I have been unable to get the pump to run at all. I sent an email to BE Pressure stating what was going on and how to go about their warranty process. I have received no communication back from them and it has been going on a week now.
