It doesn't have the (nice) traverse capability the Rota-Pod had, but is thinner, slipped right onto the picatinny rail, installed easily, and through over 100 rounds from my Core 15 AR-15 M4 Carbine, never showed any looseness. It does allow the weapon to tilt to the side slightly, which helps with loading/removing the magazine (Magpul 30-rd), and allowing the range officer to safety inspect at "cease fire". It is tight enough the tilt doesn't seem to have any effect on aim or movement when firing. The bipod was solid, and I found no movement in this adapter. The hex wrench was just barely too long to store in the Magpul stock compartment, but I don't expect to use it on any regular basis, and the knob is hand-tightenable to make the wrench unnecessary. For the far lower price, this one worked when the Rota-Pod wouldn't fit the picatinny rail (Rota-Pod is not width adjustable like this one is). So I can recommend it if traverse isn't critical, and I was easily able to traverse despite the bipod legs anyway. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product for the price. *by S***C on Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2013* Great little adaptor for the price the only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 is because for the bipod I used it on (black hawk pivot bipod 6-9 inch) you need to tighten the tightening nob pretty tight, which starts to bend the rod the tightening nob is attached to, in order for the bipod to be securely attached to the adaptor without movement.HOWEVER this may be an issue with my blackhawk bipod being so cheap, it may lack quality materials that a harris wouldn't. All in all my bipod fits snug on the adaptor which is tightly secured on the bottom picatinny rail of my LWRC M6A2 SPR. Paid a quarter of the price for my bipod and adaptor, as opposed to a harris bipod, and it works identical, aside from the bent tightening rod which does not in anyway effect the bipods performance.Also MY adaptor came with the picatinny tightening piece that the allen screw is holding onto, upside down. You may have to take the allen screw off and flip the little metal piece so its on the correct way so it'll fit on the rail properly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Too Good for the Price *by X***\ on Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2014* I read some negative reviews, and almost didn't buy this. There were several other such items for 7-10 times more cost, and I almost spent the money on them. I am glad I didn't. I mounted this to the bottom rail on a quad rail gas block, on a 26" full bull barrel .308 Winchester caliber LR-308. It is about an eighth of an inch longer than the rail, and that length is to the rear of the gas block. I mounted a heavy duty Harris bi-pod, and there is no movement or play from the mount or the bi-pod. Once everything is tightened down, this thing locks into place, and looking at the parts all together, it appears to have been made just for that. There is still room behind the mount so it doesn't touch or strike the end of the handguard even during recoil.
