I used to buy 80g packs from fish monger at £3.75 each and on line they are more. The weight of this pack is 1kg so I get 12.5 x 80g portions out ! A lot cheaper, it does say once open to consume within two days but I have an anchovy pasta recipe for two persons which I cook each week and as the pack needs to be refrigerated I have not had a problem with them going off yet. Although fresh anchovies they are marinated in the oil. **Q: Are these salty?** A: Although they are cured in salt and marinated in sunflower oil, these are not the very salty ones that you get in a tin.
