However, there is one glaring fault that I had to deduct two stars for. The zipper on the left-front is a fake pocket. The zipper is purely “for show”, and serves no useful purpose whatsoever. To have anything that is purely cosmetic, when it could have just as easily been made as an actual, functioning pocket, simply does not belong on pants whose entire purpose is functional utility. Nothing on a pair of tactical cargo pants should be “just for show”. Everything should serve a useful purpose.So despite everything else about these pants being great, that fake pocket leaves a bad taste in my mouth (so-to-speak), which forces me to deduct those two stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had to laugh when I saw... *by P***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2018* I had to laugh when I saw all the comments over the little pocket that "goes nowhere". I already had a couple of the 3.5 inch x 3/16 inch ferro rods from Baylite and they both fit perfectly into the pocket. So... either use the pocket or just ignore it, but qwitcherbitchin already.As for the belt everybody seems disappointed that isn't included. So what? Get a good leather belt and move on. These aren't dress pants for trendies - these are outdoors / work pants for grownups.Quality: Great, great pants - very well made. Good, heavy stitching on all seams and pockets. Thank God the pockets have buttons and NOT VELCRO. Buttons I can replace - velcro is... well, it just doesn't last.Sizing: The chart is confusing, but the comments are clear. I have a 36 inch waist so I purchased the 38 inch pants - fits perfectly. I have washed them twice - no shrinkage.Price: The right price for the quality you receive - I doubt you could do better elsewhere.PS: I already ordered two more pair in solid colors (dark green and rust brown). ### ⭐⭐ Good cloth, very cheap hardware, large buttons easy to handle with gloves or in cold. *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2018* Stupid fake zipper (prominent zipper but nothing under it, not even room for a pencil or single key) is actually a better quality zipper than the fly. I lubricated the fly zipper in order to get it to zip relatively smoothly. Terrible quality fly zipper, almost made me send it back. REALLY hope it doesn't break, zippers so hard to replace. Tiny zipper on the fly, can;t possibly grasp with the thinnest glove. Heavy cloth, nice waist, and ankle ties have a real function - easily shorten the pants and keep critters out in the bush. Another reviewer complained about the very large buttons. I didn't want velcro because those pocket closures quickly clog up with dirt and dog hair around here.
