My son is just 3 so right now we’re working on matching uppercase with lowercase . The possibilities of what can be done is endless though . And I haven’t seen a wooden set with both uppercase and lowercase so that was a huge plus for me .

**Q: Description claims there are uppercase letters but I'm not seeing them in the box on the photo?**
A: The letter A and C outside the box are capitalized. The second picture shows all the letters included.

**Q: Mine came with a heavy chemical smell is this normal? My husband thinks it’s smells like the wood with lacquer on it**
A: I had this shipped out of state. So it was roughly one month later that I actually saw the item. It didn’t have a chemical smell to me. And if it does have one, it just might take some time to wear off.

The product looks great! Everything is here! I adore the wooden box for storage and the fact that it has each letter labeled in the corresponding compartments. Only one single letter out of all of them didnt pass a quality control but it was the vowel 'u' so there were extras! It seems to be a bit splintered and chipped up making it a bit of a hazard. However the company sent extra little dots for the 'i' and 'j' pieces and I think that was just incredible as we know those tiny pieces will be hard to keep track of!
