I wanted something better for the environment. For behind the bar, something more like a regular straw than a stir stick so people might actually use them then just take them out of the drink inside of the bar because they’re too tiny to sip out of. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants that serve something similar and have never been all that impressed because they either don’t hold up in liquid or they have a weird texture that bugs me . But these straws are really nice. They hold their shape after sitting in liquid a long time and no strange texture. I purchased these in both the regular size straw and a shorter straw for mixed drinks.
