These were a great replacement for the original Bosch plugs. May 15, 2015 review: I bought these for my 2006 Mini Cooper S. These platinum plugs, paired with a new Beru Central Ignition Coil and new NGK spark plug wires, made my car run like new again! It was starting to develop a bit of a hesitation when I stepped on the gas pedal, and the "check engine" light had come on. When I read the error code it was for a "misfire - multiple cylinders." I also inspected the spark plug wires, and found that a hole had worn in a part of the wire that runs to cylinder 3. I wasn't sure my CE-light was on because of bad plugs, specifically--or if the wires were also a cause of the problem. However, given that new plugs, new wires, and a new coil only run about $100, replacing those was a good first step to take at home prior to taking the car into a mechanic for a diagnostic test, which probably would have run more than that. Between these plugs, new NGK wires and the Beru coil my car is running like new again!
