It’s easy to bring with us since everything fits inside with a top to hold them. They are perfect for playing in the sand. They only reason I didn’t give them five stars it because the handle area is so delicate that they broke using them a few times.But we love that they were made to respect be safe for our oceans and break down if washed into the water. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Four stars for being biodegradable! *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 31, 2015* I baught this sand set because it is the only I could find that is biodegradable. (Don't forget it doesn't biodegrade really if you toss it into the garbage/landfill). The design was less appealing to me in the first place (but that's just a matter of taste) and after a few uses, I actually find the design slightly flawed/inconvenient. The handles are my main complaint. First, in order to use the handles, you have to put the lid on the right way so the holes/handles align (actually more of a problem for your young toddler - of coure, you could call it brain teaser). Second, because the handles are holes rather than a belt like on traditional buckets, it's hard to hang the set on a finger or two when you are on the playground, trying to gather your bag, your shoes and your possibly kicking and screaming toddler. It's possible by all means but just seems easier with a traditional bucket. Third, because there are holes, when you fill the bucket with sand, it obviously runs off the sides. Especially when you tap the sand before turning the bucket upside down. Never mind the sand that, again, escaped from the holes and ruins your straight lines! It's nothing too serious, my toddler does not seem to care much at this point but since it kind of bugs me, who knows how this will change. The small cups, by the way, do not have a straight rim either, but that's probably no problem at all. I feel like the designer wanted to make something attractive but there is no need to reinvent the wheel I think. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great concept *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 28, 2012* This was a very cute little box but I would have liked it better if it was just a little deeper and if the lid snapped on instead of just being placed over top. The scoop was amazing for my little guy and he loved the cups as well. Unfortunately, my husband lost the scoop our first day on the beach so I can rest knowing it will biodegrade in the ocean. This meant that I had to buy a second one as my little one loved the scoop better than any shovel. I only wish I could buy extra cups and scoops separately so I could buy more without having to buy the whole set because the box was not used too much.
