But, I want to be inspired by his life so that I can do more, so much more than what I am doing now. He showed me that God can work in amazing ways if we would only trust him and Try. I settle for so little compared to what could be. This humble man gave me a glimpse of what my life could be with God’s help. I was utterly amazed at how many incredible things God did through this man. And he seem to have so much joy. But he must have had an enormous gift of faith. What an inspiration. Also, I am not a Catholic. But I recognize this man truly was a Christian Who love God and wanted to be used by him. I loved the story and everything it represented. It truly shows how ones unwavering faith and trust in God is never a waste of time. It also showed how powerful prayer is and can be even if we ourselves are not there to witness the outcome. Absolutely a wonderful story and addicting. I think the greatest lesson I took besides the spiritual lesson was the fact that you can never judge others based on the acts of a few. Fr. Goldmann had to endure years of abuse and deep, dark hatred for actions he never condoned, supported nor believed in.
