Review: Beautiful gown, would highly recommend it - I don’t often leave reviews but I loved this gown so much that I felt I needed to. We were let down by a high street store on a gown we ordered for our daughter’s baptism so I did a quick google for a new one and this one came up. I would never have thought to order one from desertcart but I purchased it based on the reviews and images. We had so many compliments on the day and no-one could believe it was from desertcart. I am so glad we bought it as it was beautiful, great quality and looked really expensive. We didn’t use the bonnet and instead ordered a headband from Etsy. Our daughter is 6.5 months old and we bought the 3-6m size as she isn’t very big and it was a perfect size for her. Would highly recommend it.

**Q: Hi can I wash this beforehand?**
A: I hand washed mine, it was very creased after and I didn’t want to iron it, so I brought Lenore iron spray to remove all the creases was like brand new!

**Q: Could a toddler walk in the dress or are they extra long length?**
A: The toddler can walk but it’s really long.

**Q: I dont know what size to order my girl is 12 month's old and her chest size is 20inches?**
A: My baby was 3 months and I got the 6 -9 months size. It was perfect for her. The problem is that the dress is quite long. It is way past the legs, so unless you are planning to shorten it, it may not be appropriate for a walking child.  My baby has always been of normal size for her age. I would suggest you go with the 12-18 size or the next size. Also, I had to change the sleeve to 'cap sleeve'as the long sleeve was too fitted for my baby and I wanted her to feel comfortable in it.

The christening dress has no elasticity and her size cannot be determined solely on the basis of age and weight. The most accurate way is to choose  a corect size according to her bust.
Our 3M bust is 51cm and 6M bust is 53.
