Review: Challenging and engaging - All of the information is there, but you will need to think outside the box and pay close attention. Typically these have taken me around 1-1.5 hours to complete, but this one proved to be extra challenging, with two of us taking almost 3 hours to fill out the suspect sheet and find the culprit. Loved the use of external resources for clue hunting; it made it really engaging!!
Review: Good Quality Mystery with Plenty to Work Through - We enjoyed this one. This was the first time solving a "Murder Mystery Party Case Files" brand mystery, but we've solved many other brands. One of us prefers the detective style mystery games (favorite being "Unsolved Case Files") with less puzzles and usage of the internet. This fit that mostly. The online elements were well put together. The physical items were also quite nice and authentic feeling. For example, the photos were on real looking photo paper, the official documents were on heavier paper with nice letterhead, and there was even a journal with handwritten style script. Overall better quality items than "Unsolved Case Files." There were a lot of different papers to go through and a decent narrative. I will admit, there were a couple pieces that didn't fit or make sense until the epilogue explanation at the end, but it didn't hurt the overall mystery. (There is a misprint in a clue posted online, but if you're working the case correctly it shouldn't matter.) We look forward to solving another mystery from this brand!

**Q: Is there any prep ahead of time to play this game or do I just open it at the party? Thank hou**
A: There's a little organizing of paperwork but pretty much just start playing

**Q: Is this the same mystery as “A Taste for Wine & Mystery? we played that one last year and this one seems very similar if not exactly the same**
A: It’s by the same people

**Q: If we play as a family can one of our kids look up the solution? If we play over a few days we don't want them to look up the answer and ruin the game**
A: The solutions are online, it depends on the age. You have to enter the corrent evidence before you get to the final solution, and there's 30 or so to pick from. So it is possible for them to figure it out without playing it correctly.

**Q: Is the game ruined after you play it once? Or can it be used again by someone else? Drawing on papers opening envelopes that arr sealed?**
A: No, it's not ruined, as long as you don't scribble on it. We added some physical evidence mentioned in the evidence so that our kids could play the game on their own and have more 'stuff' to put on their corkboard. We copied everything, and posted it to our corkboard, and tagged, stringed, or scribbled on that.

My 13 year old daughter loves these! This is our third one and they are fantastic. Might be a little too easy for those that play these games often, but it is perfect for teens.
