Yeah the hooks are big I measured between 1 1/4 inch and 1 1/2 inch. Sort of thing you would use for big bluefish, big spanish macks, kingfish. The water temp is 87 where I live so I will have to wait until October to try it out. The swivels are better than most that I have bought from China and the main lines and branch lines look decent enough. Review: They work, but..... - I bought these on a whim because they look similar to another brand that I use, which cost more. They do work. I've caught mackerel, cod and pollock but there are a few issues with these rigs. The biggest issues is that the length of the rig is way too long. I cut them in half and use three hooks which makes it more manageable(still a little long though). There is also no telling how strong the line is but so far nothing I've caught has snapped the line. One other complaint is the size of the snap that's pre-rigged. You'll have a difficult time getting anything larger than 4-5 oz weight on it.
