My landscaper fixed it onto a concrete pad so it will be stable in wind. Looks nice in my front courtyard, even without the water running. Water evaporates too fast in California dry weather, without constant refill. When water is low, the motor continues to run, and risks being burned out. So I just keep it off, until I figure out a way to automatically refill water or shut off the motor.
