He said what I need is the same device as for tennis elbow, even though my ailment is different, and that I don't need to spring for an expensive band with bells and whistles. This seemed just what the doctor ordered, not expensive, and it does the trick. I don't wear it constantly, but it seems it will hold up well enough to give my tendon a good, long rest.On thing, though. It came with absolutely no documentation. The image currently shown seems to be entirely wrong. The firm rubber pad is under the logo, which in the photo appears to be on the outside of the arm. As my doctor demonstrated with his thumb, I need pressure near the inside angle of the elbow. So ask your physician or therapist how to properly use it. Some guidance might be available on line from other products, I haven't checked. After a few weeks of intermittent use, I find that, in order to get full effect, I really have to stretch it as tight as possible and position it as close as possible to my elbow. It leaves a mark for a bit after removal, but no problem; it's still comfortable enough to wear for extended periods.UPDATE (After a couple months of intermittent use): It still does the job, and I'm able to wear it for long periods without noticing. But if covered with a sleeve, I also don't notice that often the plastic "loop" gets askew. This is because the material is stretchy, and if you don't pull it tight in an even manner, it will distort after awhile. I sewed the "loop" more closely, but there's still enough leeway in the loop itself that it still twists and bunches up. The solution might be for them to use a non-stretch fabric, but then it wouldn't be the same product. I find that if I favor the side of the strap higher up my arm when tightening the velcro, and check it occasionally, that's fine. So it's not perfect, but it's good enough, and I'm satisfied. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Like the wide strap but could use some improvement. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2016* I have tried a number of tennis elbow braces and all of them have a strap that is too thin and digs into my arm making it very uncomfortable to wear for any length of time. Seeing this brace with the wider strap, I ordered it to see how it would wear. I am very pleased with the fit of the strap from that perspective and it is easily adjustable. It does have a couple of areas where it could be improved in my opinion. The velcro hook strip is short and I find the strap pulling loose at times from the loop material as I have worn it. A little bit more length would allow it to grab more loop material, I think. The other issue I find is the plastic buckle that you thread the strap through is slippery and bigger than the strap so I find the strap sliding to one side almost to where the buckle is now perpendicular to the strap instead of parallel and it then causes the brace to be really loose. I find myself constantly adjusting it. I fixed this somewhat by using a light copper compression sleeve under the brace and then folding the sleeve over the brace making it one wrapped package and that seems to work really well for me. In fact, I wore it that way on a tough mudder last weekend and it never bothered me the whole day and it kept my tennis elbow from flaring up despite all the different obstacles. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars MYOTEK Tennis Elbow brace- it's getting the job done! *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2016* I got a case of Tennis elbow from a combination of water sports and gym activities. I have never used a brace like this before, and it really didn't come with any instructions or tips for wearing, so I went on to YOUTUBE to find out the best method of wear. For the most part, it seems to alleviate the pain- IF I get it in the right spot, and at the right amount of tightness, which can be a bit tricky. Overall, it is not too bulky, and the velcro band seems pretty strong and holds well. The only thing I noticed was when I wore it to the gym the other day, the hard plastic ring that the band fits through, kept shifting/twisting uncomfortably into the bend of my inner elbow while lifting some weights.
