She has thick hair so high heat would be necessary. She said it was decent and it was better then having to use a straightener. She hates that it takes her a long time to use straightener. Here is my experience:I also have thick hair and I tried it out.I was not happy with it. First off it does not have enough bristles and it's spread apart. It does not grab the hair so it's almost like there is space between the hair and the brush. I tried brushing through the same spot over 3 to 5 times and it would not straighten like I would like it to.Also when you hold the brush there are buttons on the side which controls the temperature. I kept on accidently pushing it and changing the temp as well as the power button.Maybe you get what you pay for. I'm sure a higher end brand brush may be much better. This makes curly hair more manageable, but may not get hair bone straight. Having said that, for my needs it works well.
