Washable markers? Crayon? Any insight on what might work best?** A: The cardboard is corrugated, so crayons (and to a lesser extent colored pencils) tend to leave vertical stripes of darker color where you have the inside layer. Markers look better, but we have done acrylic paint and poster board paints too with good results. **Q: Would two 5 years old kids fit inside?** A: Yep! **Q: I wonder if you could attach two of these today to make it large enough to fit a mattress inside ?** A: I don't think the cardboard is that sturdy.
