Purists may get upset about that, but I thought it made the story more interesting, as things dont go exactly as we expect them to.+Link actually talks, and the way he does is almost exactly how I'd imagine. Young, energetic, and full of courage.+Minor characters like Mido, Saria, and Nabooru get alot more love here than in the games. Some even help Link with the Boss fights which I thought was neat.+I also liked how you get alot more backstory on characters we didn't think about too much in the games. One example was how it was revealed that the Volvagia [pre-timeskip] became Links adorable little pet during his quest.+All the characters have their own distinct personalities now, which makes them all alot more fun, instead of just being npc's.- I was slightly annoyed that the boss fights were over 1-2 hits after Link learns the weak spot. I would've liked to see him struggle a bit.- I know this is geared towards little ones, but I REALLY wanted to see the story take a darker turn post time-skip, like when Link sees the Re-deads for the 1st time. It could've stayed PG while keeping a darker tone.Anyways, if you enjoyed the Games [or even if you never played them] and need a quick, upbeat fantasy manga to read grab the whole set. Trust me, the LoZ Manga series is THAT good.
