I have it hooked up to my 800amphour 12v battery bank and it holds on well even with my 1.5hp air conditioner working. The set backs I have with this product are: 1.) The buzzing sound I hear when some appliances are on, and I believe it is due to the fact that the Inverter produces a modified sine wave. 2.) Secondly, the LCD display does not reset after the inverter's overload protection system is triggered. If the Input voltage goes higher than the threshold the display just remians at hte threshold. You would have to power the unit on and off to reset.
