This sweatshirt dress fits like an American Apparel extra small. It looks pretty nice on me, very fitted and the black hides imperfections well. But if it shrinks AT ALL, it will be too small. I wonder why AA only makes this in "one size" and wonder why the size is so tiny. I intended to wear tights with it anyway. What I didn't expect is that the opening where I put my head through is very small. It's just barely big enough for my head to go through and I have to pull it hard. I don't have an extra large head. The hoodie fits me well but if I was any bigger, it would be tight. I am 5-2 and 129 lbs. I love the color and love the way it feels. It's great for winter when I just keep it on all day. I've got a really long torso but it still covers my butt. Probably too short to be worn as a dress but it will look cute with leggings and boots or sneakers. Personally I think it runs a bit small and someone curvier than me might not be able to wear it except as a normal hoodie. It's pretty cute and seems to be good quality.
