I thought they would sweat since they are single walled, but I lined them with the plastic bag they arrived in and there was no liquid outside the tubs. I had fulled with cans and bottles then poured ice over them. The bags had small holes and the tubs had a few inches of water in them 2 days later when I emptied them, but no leaks or water outside the tubs. They are watertight!! I will use them to store paper and kindling as Fireplace starters when not using for party beverages, so it's well worth the price. Gorgeous high quality tubs!! Very pleased!!!!
