YogurBerry Homemade Yogurt Maker Non-electronic Yogurt Maker (Pink)

I tried to make yogurt several times with this equipment with several different types of whole milk and several different makers yogurt to mixed with ect ect but nothing seems to work... Too bad I tried too hard and long to see if this thing works but time went by now I lost opportunity to return it to seller...

I tried to make yogurt and absolutely failed!! I exactly followed the given instruction-- using hot boiling water and unprocessed whole milk, 10 hours of fermentation time-- and used 200 ml of FAGE plain greek yogurt as a starter.I regret that I purchased this item because there were so many cheaper and successfully working yogurt makers. Design is so cute but that is all about this yogurt maker. :-(

Great, low-tech product for the yogurt lover. While the instructions only reference the use of granulated yogurt starter in the instructions, you can readily use about 3 oz of plain, whole milk yogurt as a starter (just make sure to subtract those oz measurements from the total amount of milk you are to use). Have also had good results in using korean or japanese drinkable yogurt that you find in asian grocery stores across the U.S. In fact, once you get started, you can use the yogurt from the previous batch to start subsequent yogurt, eliminating the need to store-bought anything (besides milk).The construction is very sturdy and the jar that holds the yogurt is thick enough to be used in the freezer if you want to make froyo without a lot of ice crystal buildup.

First off, it's super cute. I've used it to make three batches of greek yogurt so far with Fage Greek Yogurt as the culture - they've turned out terrific. I am a fan of the colour pink, but I purchased the white one since that was too much pink for me. Tip for those who want to spin it in an ice cream machine : strain the whey out overnight first, then spin to make frozen yogurt, the texture will be much richer and smoother.

Awesome! Extremely simple producing great homemade yogurt with very little effort. Finished result is a thinner yogurt than store product. It's just perfect to blend in fruit for smoothies. I lined a strainer bowl with a coffee filter and ended up with nice thick yogurt in about 6 hours. I have an electric maker but results were always different with too many variables boiling milk to the correct temperature. I'm very pleased with this well made product and fantastic results. I especially appreciate the safer Tritan plastic yogurt container. It's easy to make yogurt several times a week. Purchased a second one for a gift.
