Not what I expected for a 3 year old product. I bought a 2020 Built to Serve Ram and I needed a retractable for a variety of reasons. I researched, shopped, and wore out the internet looking for something I thought would be better than the Gator Trax. Better meaning quality AND price. Most retractables start around 1,000 dollars and go up to way off of my scale of worth. I came across the SyneticUSA on desertcart. Price was lowest of any retractable I came across. Top is solid aluminum slats, nicely finished. Four drain tubes over most that offer two, lots of rubber and foam gaskets to seal out water. Needs two people for the install for sure but other than that very easy to install. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good cover, but a tad short *by K***Y on June 4, 2025* Bought this a few days ago for my Ram 1500, based on price point and some reviews about this product. Took me about 3 hours to assemble due to bad instructions and the video not explaining some things correctly. Also the overall length is a tad short (about half an inch or so), so you have to really align the canister end such that it is barely touching the bulkhead of the truck bed. Even with all of that there is still a small gap on the tailgate end through which some water can seep in, so I now need to think of a way to close this gap.
