I tried it right out of the box and was pleasantly surprised how easily it worked. It is now going to be my go-to wrench for tight spaces.The wrench jaws are 9 to 13 mm thick and the outside assembly appears to be strong. I can not see the spring inside the ratchet nor the inside locking mechanism, so hopefully these parts are made of strong rust-proof materials.The description says the wrench is made from chrome vanadium steel. The adjustable handle is total junk and gets jammed up constantly, usually won't lock when you want it to and stays completely unlocked when you do.
