**Q: is the UB157 retractable?**
A: Hi, no, you take the cap off , use it, put the cap on when you are finished to store. I love them, since I bought the first set in 2019 I have re ordered a number of times, to me, the ink lasts and love the fact that there is a window where you can see how much ink you have left. Hope this helps :)

**Q: are these washproof/waterproof?**
A: No

**Q: How much is a box of 12 of these pens**
A: The price varies according to whether you want blue or black. The blue are roughly £10 and the black roughly £12. The prices are contained in the ad.

**Q: Is it scratching on paper through writing or smooth ?**
A: my 13 year old has terrible handwriting but finds writing with these very smooth and not too much effort as ink flows well. No scratching on paper.
