A little confusing - be careful if you are looking for a particular item. I purchased the style made with model instead of polyester or whatever. Apparently modal is a product made from wood fibers ( not bamboo). This material is very smooth and soft but not shinny. These are very comfortable. fit well with enough stretch to stay in place without binding or pinching. Seem to be well made. They dry quickly, but not as fast as the synthetic materials. The thong seems very comfortable and stretchy enough. The pouch is roomy enough for me and very comfortable for all day wearing and for my afternoon gym full body workout and that’s saying a lot.
