This would probably work well inside a gazebo with side walls that block out the wind. It seemed like a very promising product. We used it last night outside and it was very disappointing. You could only feel the heat about 2 feet from the top of the unit (and this was on the high setting). I have a cheap unit I got for $20 bucks that I use in my garage that puts out more heat than this does. I should have kept the box so I could send it back. Massively disappointed on this one. Not sure how it had so many good reviews, it is a piece of junk.Also from a design perspective, if you want to switch between the tall and short options you have to disassemble the entire thing as the electric cord runs through the inside of the two piece shaft assembly.
