The product page advertises them as super soft, but they were stiff and scratchy right out of the package. So I washed them, assuming they would soften. They still felt stiff and unpleasant to the touch. (As a contrast, I bought Pinzon flannel sheets for my Mom, and they were soft and supple and cozy right out of the package, even before washing.)Then I tried to make up the bed with them anyway, thinking I would try sleeping on them at least once. The product page advertises that these sheets will fit up to an 18 inch deep mattress and that The "generously sized sheets ensure a perfect fit wash after wash." Untrue! The bottom sheet fit fine. Then I attempted to apply the top sheet. When placed at the top of the mattress, the top sheet reached to the foot of the mattress and no further. In other words, it did NOT reach over the edge of the mattress with a few inches left over to tuck under the mattress as it should in order to hold it on the bed. And my mattress is only 10 inches deep, not the 18 inches it says it will fit. When I pulled the top sheet down over the edge of the foot of the mattress and tucked it in underneath by a couple of inches, the top sheet would have barely reached to below my chest, certainly not high enough to tuck around my neck and keep me warm. This is generously sized?! Then I took out my measuring tape and measured the top sheet and compared it to the product's description. It's supposed to measure 83 x 86 inches. But it only measured 82 x 81 inches. It either shrunk 5 inches in length in the wash (but only 1 inch in width), or it was defective. Either way, outrageous.Then I looked at the bed again, and measured out the full 86 inches the top sheet claimed to be in length, and realized that even at the full dimension advertised, the top sheet would still NOT have fit properly on the bed. So I went to several other product pages of different brands of flannel sheets. Every single one listed the top sheet dimensions for a full sized bed as 96 inches in length. 96!!!! While these sheets were listed as 86, and were only truly 81 inches in length. What!!! It never occurred to me that someone would deliberately manufacture a full size bed top sheet too short!The bottom sheet fit the bed, so I know these people are aware of the dimensions of a full size bed. Why would they make a top sheet 10 inches shorter than the standard length that other brands use?! Yikes! I removed them from the bed and returned them immediately. Do not buy these sheets. I don't know if they're defective or the manufacturer is an idiot or both. Either way, you should avoid these stiff, ill-fitting sheets.
