The 10% natural alpha-hydroxy acid is Glycolic acid. **Q: Is this product cruelty free?** A: According to their website, the microbeads in the scrub are "synthetic" meaning plastic, so no. Plastic microbeads are illegal in the US because they pollute our oceans (even worse in the deepest parts of the oceans) and fish eat them.
