I have two linear burners, each throttled by a trim valve, so I can compare gas flow noise individually. See picture-the short section of silver flex is not a non-whistle design while the black ones are. The burner supply line with the silver flex is definitely noisier. It’s not a whistle sound but more of a whooshing sound.
