I also spend a lot of time in Hawaii, and while there I wanted a nice light vest with lots of secure pockets in which to carry my mobile, keys, etc. This nylon-looking vest is very light, perfect for Hawaii weather indoors where AC can make things chilly and outdoors where a tee shirt is all one normally wears and a heavier vest would be too warm. This vest looks great, just as pictured, and well made with material that looks more durable than one might expect given how inexpensive it is.With regard to fit, I’m a tad over 6’ and weigh 180 lbs. I wanted a vest that wasn’t too loose and didn’t extend much below my belt line. I ordered a medium and found it to be sized exactly as I wanted: close fitting and to my belt line, and when fully zipped up remains comfortable and nonrestrictive even if I’m wearing it over a fleece.
