I think it was because my wife was tired of hearing me complain about having a sore neck all the time. Let me back up a little. I take frequent flights between Chicago and Philadelphia. What that entails is to sometimes get at the airport at 5:15am (meaning up at 3:30am - leave the house at 4am) and on a plane to come back home at 5:30pm. For me this means lack of sleep so I often use the plane to catch some winks. Sleeping without a pillow or with my jacket behind my head became literally a pain in the neck. So my wife picked up Travel Stuff's Microbead Travel Pillow. All I can say is WOW. This pillow fits right in my carry on bag and comes out the minute I sit down.
