There was a faint chemical smell when i first took them out of the box but I’m sure that’ll go away once they’re aired out. They do tend to slide down a bit when walking, but I think if I get rid of the toggle and just tie the strings in the back in a bow I can actually get them cinched enough to not slip down. Overall they’re very comfortable, nice and stretchy, and they look great. I’m typically a shoe size 7-7.5 and the 7.5 fit just right. Definitely recommend.
