I surfed the tons of search results, looked up most infamous brands (but selection was really limited of model shapes/sizes, higher prices, & none even offer a heating pad version anywhere close to only fulfilling an approx size item, let alone any sort of features..I read TONS of Q&A’s,Full descriptions, &Reviews for the decades market leaders and actually customer feedback was mostly dissatisfied..THIS HEATING PAD IS THE BEST IVE EVER OWNED!!! And it was an excellent price, it is a perfect large size. This is the first one I’ve had where I’ve only always said a pad shape/size never was enough & never reached or covered adequate for relief and just 1 of many annoyances.. every heating pad when I’ve used them in past, I feel heat & am only having thoughts of what it’s lacking or what is uncomfortable or annoying!This pad I can use anywhere for anything. From sore back or any body part… I even have a freezing first floor that sitting watching tv in winters, I’ve tried insulating the hell out of the flooring, and my feet are always so cold I cannot feel them.. basically all winter long.. so I’ll lay the pad on the floor where my feet rest, and I’ve got toasty feet! AHHHHH.. the pad is so soft material and flexible to be able to wrap it and move it to how you need heat placed, yet the fuzzy plush cozy fabric has never had a single pull or pilling .. and is more durable and even stain or spill repellent, also stands up to my dog wanting to sit on the warm spot and she will paw it thinking she’s making a little nest, and even her claws have not cause a single fabric nor inner coil damage. The cord is long enough to plug in and use the pad in a comfortable place and way.. the features of the controls is impressive. It has 1-9 heat levels… from the controller you can also choose the length of time you want it to remain on until the auto shut off occurs. The controller is located in a fantastic place on the cord so that wherewever you plug in plus have the pad heating on you, you can always reach the controller. The controller display when on is lit values so if it were dim or dark, you are able to see what settings it’s at. There is also a sensor function and thermostat system of some kind built into the pad which I didn’t understand how works when ordered but have since found is neat! The heat setting level you set, the pad heats up to that amount, and senses that it is at the right level, but it’s sensing the whole entire pad itself of your body contact.. so where the pad is on top or under body regions, it heats to the level I’ve chosen, but locations on the pad where I don’t at the time have occupied, those regions aren’t heated up to the set temp level.. if I move and occupy a once not using region, it heats to match the chosen controller heat setting… ummm hello??? The pad even knows where my body is using it or not!? Never would have imagined that from a heating pad! This is also the first heating pad that has ever not ended up burning my skin if I was not paying attention or fell asleep, despite the heat level picked. You can feel the wire coiling weaved inside of it, it’s not super thick, but the fabric is so cozy and comfortable and has enough cushion and fluff to it that I never notice/feel the coils on my being treated body, I only definitely feel all the wires inside during being out and putting away handling. And so far the pad has been flexible in any direction and has had zero impact damage on the wiring. I just never fold it tightly. I can put all my weight on it which over the 2 year length of pandemic catching “covid-60 🤭😆” I had been up to over 250lbs… and despite the warnings not to to prevent internal damage to the heating elements, well yes I have stood and walked and laid on it, anything really, bizillions of times day in and day out since I got it and nothing has ever happened to it. I kinda just now always have it in my living room and will be sitting or standing or my dog wanting the soft fabric or heat, even if I don’t have it turned on, and lemme tell you that is a LOT of traffic and wear and tear exposure of > 2years of covid 24/7 Netflix binging 💪🏻… it is soft as a fleece and more durable in every way than the wall to wall carpeting. I chose this not famous brand, because I wanted a large size that actually would fit any body location needed. I’ve also never owned a heating pad that has ever covered the entire area I needed to apply heat. Next it is silent and soft more like a blanket! not all plasticky with a scratchy cover like heating pads in prior days. I’ve never had to clean jt, fuzzies will catch on it but a light brush of the hand and are gone… and it doesn’t attract or ever become covered with dog hair just from being out in my dog mom home. When I have spilled and gotten it wet, it hasn’t soaked into the pad, and 5 seconds to grab whatever.. a towel/napkin/paper towel… instantly absorbs and leaves the pad dry as if it had never happened no matter any degree of damp to knocked over glass or spilling all over myself.
