The issues arise from poor installation and underrated cables which can lead to over heating and ultimately damage to your installation and car. **Q: Can I use the smart socket together with the app to dim a dimmable outdoor light? Or does the app only allow sockets to be on or off?** A: The app only allows switching on and off. We do have smart lamps which can be dimmed and in many cases colour changing too. Please visit the Knightsbridge store and look at our smart product range **Q: How do I get this into pairing mode?** A: Don't even bother. Send it back for a refund before the initial 30 day Amazon warranty is up. If you have to deal with Knightsbridge for a warranty claim, you may as well throw it in the bin and write off what you paid for it. These are absolutely useless.
