We're upgrading from AGM to Lithium batteries, and I needed Bluetooth access via the Xantrex app to get into the charging profile settings. I removed 2 screws, pulled out the old display, unhooked the RJ11 (phone cable) connection, plugged in the new display (didn't need the LONG extra RJ11 cable provided, but thank you!), turned on the 12v switch and fired up the app. Connected immediately, was able to run through all the charging profiles, find the lithium settings, and fine tune them. Great piece of kit for a fair price. Review: Easy upgrade! - Easy to install. Customer support from the manufacturer was awesome! Called about an issue I had for almost two years. Explained to me what I needed to look at. Fixed an issue not associated to the purchase of the item. But it would not work correct because of an install issue from the RV manufacture. ## Features - View key system information via FXC Control app on your smartphone or tablet - Configure and monitor important parameters and settings - Fault and error codes - Compatible with all FREEDOM X, XC, XC PRO models in 120Vac/60Hz or 230Vac/50Hz models ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08C1SFRFP | | Additional Features | Not_Performance_Used | | Battery Type | Lithium | | Best Sellers Rank | #39,570 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #2,195 in Remote Controls (Electronics) | | Brand | Xantrex | | Built-In Media | Xantrex 808-0817-02 Remote Control, Bluetooth, Freedom X/XC | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Smartphone | | Connectivity Technology | Bluetooth | | Controller Type | Button Control | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 211 Reviews | | Item Type Name | Xantrex 808-0817-02 Remote Control, Bluetooth, Freedom X/XC | | Item Weight | 15.2 ounces | | Manufacturer | Xantrex | | Max Number of Supported Devices | 1 | | Maximum Number of Supported Devices | 1 | | Maximum Range | 10 meters | | Mfr Part Number | 808-0817-02 | | Model Name | Xantrex 808-0817-02 Remote Control, Bluetooth, Freedom X/XC | | Model Number | 808-0817-02 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Special Feature | Not_Performance_Used | | UPC | 715535906597 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Xantrex - **Connectivity Technology:** Bluetooth - **Controller Type:** Button Control - **Special Feature:** Ergonomic - **Compatible Devices:** Smartphone - **Surround Sound Channel Configuration:** 5.1 - **Color:** Black - **Item Weight:** 431 Grams - **Number of Channels:** 6 - **Audio Output Type:** Speakers ## Images ![Xantrex 808-0817-02 Remote Control, Bluetooth, Freedom X/XC - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51oGbO54hOL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easiest DIY Upgrade to RV Charging System *by J***K on February 28, 2025* This was a super-simple, drop-in upgrade for our Xantrex system in a LTV Wonder RV. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy upgrade! *by S***D on January 26, 2026* Easy to install. Customer support from the manufacturer was awesome! Called about an issue I had for almost two years. Explained to me what I needed to look at. Fixed an issue not associated to the purchase of the item. But it would not work correct because of an install issue from the RV manufacture. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes programming a lot simpler. *by H***L on April 29, 2021* The bluetooth feature is what I wanted, with it you can program from your smart phone, nice. On the other hand, maybe pos or neg, just depends on how you look at it, you don't pair it once and done. Each time you wish to access the remote via BT you have to tell the remote to pair again, then the app sees it and you are good, for that session. Although it would be nice if the app and remote could always remain paired, but I believe the reasoning is an issue of constant power consumption if left paired. I like it and would have no problem recommending it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Xantrex 808-0817-02 Remote Control, Bluetooth, Freedom X/XC, Black, One Size - Xantrex 808-0232-01 Battery Temperature Sensor for XC Chrgr - Xantrex 818-3015 Freedom XC PRO 3000 Inverter/Charger - 3000W/120VAC (Marine) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.vu/products/234306274-xantrex-808-0817-02-remote-control-bluetooth-freedom-x-xc](https://www.desertcart.vu/products/234306274-xantrex-808-0817-02-remote-control-bluetooth-freedom-x-xc) --- *Product available on Desertcart Vanuatu* *Store origin: VU* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
