She finds the magnetic clasps very easy to use and doesn't need help putting on or removing her necklace.The second one, well it works so well my daughter "borrowed" it.I have been switching the clasp between the different necklaces I wear, so I ordered more to put on my favorite necklaces.These magnets are so strong, that I have ruined 2 chains (my own fault). I pulled on the chain to take it off instead of pulling on the magnet. The chain broke and the magnets remained together.
