Materials are acceptable with no major defects. Joinery is tight and clean although not pristine. During assembly I ran into a small hiccup attaching the seat side leg assembly. The aprons attached to the seat panel were significantly misaligned. Attached by pocket screws, it was quick work to run them out, squish the aprons into alignment, install the legs, and then reinstall the screws connecting the aprons to the seat panel. I would say they were out of tolerance by 0.140” and would have made assembly impossible without damaging a part. While this happened to not be a dealbreaker for me, I’m sure a greater percentage of the population would find this a major headache if not game over. That said, it’s pretty nice. Considering the price, I think it’s a steal. For added durability I glued the joints - otherwise I’m sure it could get pretty creaky depending how hard you ride it.
