I have had Lowa boots before and always love the quality, but these are by far the most comfortable pair I have owned. They are lightweight and you barely notice that they are on. I have a problem with drop foot and the light weight of these really helps, yet the support is superb. I wear them most days, hiking or not. Despite wearing them non-stop for over 6 months, they still look new. I have worn them in snow and water and my feet have stayed dry. The only "flaw" is that if you are on rougher terrain, you can feel some rocks through the soles. These boots have never given me blisters or raw spots.
